Time for another “Cartoon Alter Ego”, and this time we will
take a look at Aleu. Last week’s “Friday
Focus” was about her, so we will follow suit with her cartoon comparison. The reason for these comparisons, (besides
for fun) is to give the reader an idea of how they act on a regular basis. Some of the comparisons stand out and are
obvious, and some we had to think about a little more.
Aleu was a tough case.
As mentioned in the Friday Focus, she is a very loving and hyperactive
dog. She is very loud and boisterous
when voicing her pleasures and displeasures.
When it comes to attention, she is very demanding, almost to the point
of being aggressive about it. Not in a
bad sense mind you, but it simply means that if another dog is being petted or
loved on, she demands the same. If any
dog is let out to play and it’s not her turn, she will be very vocal and demand
that it be her turn.
After much thought, it became obvious what character fits
her. Millicent!
You may have to dig back in the archives to remember
Millicent. Millicent was Bugs Bunny’s
“girlfriend” in an episode with Elmer Fudd.
When Elmer had to keep care of Millicent for his uncle, he tries to
introduce Bugs Bunny to her. She is
Lovesick, and very overbearing to the point where Bugs pushes her away.
Aleu in a lot of ways, is like Millicent. While she just wants to be loved and wants
attention, she can be overbearing at times.
If you have not heard of Millicent, or need a refresher,
follow this link and watch the clip.
Millicent comes in at the 2 minute and 50 second mark.
Enjoy!
