Sunday 3-3-13

More random thoughts and observations as Heather and I take care of chores while the dogs are out playing and Aria is in her pasture:

1)      If I wasn’t certain Nadia was Daisie’s puppy, I would be convinced she was Holly’s!  The two are very similar.  The snack today while they played was carrots.  Yes they love carrots!  If there is food present of any kind, Holly and Nadia are always first in line.  They both have “the stare”.  They all love the snacks, but most of them are more patient about it.

2)      Nadia loves the trampoline like Holly.  Daisie hates it.  She looks like she is trying to walk on water when on it.  Holly and Nadia both like to jump around and play on it.

3)      So I was throwing the football to Zach, and as he was running Miya was chasing him as if to be defending the pass.  She was trying to bite him in the rear end to slow him down!  Not sure if that is a legal maneuver in the NFL.

4)      I am trying to teach them to run on “Hike”.  They are starting to catch on.  That is the first command when pulling a sled.  We will see where it goes from here.

5)      Back to work.  L  Heather and I are cleaning all the stalls.  We both pause at one point, wishing we still had to clean Dan’s stall.  We miss you bud!

6)      Rose is finally able to go out and play with the rest of them.  Usually after 3-4 weeks, they need their breaks from their babies.  It usually doesn’t last long, and they want to go back in and check on them. 

7)      Rose was really started to bark and whine, so we assumed it was that time.  So I start to put her in, only to find out that she really just wanted to get to Billy the cat who was behind me.  Needless to say she was disappointed!

8)      The birds in the trees were singing so happily, joyfully, and playfully watching me……But it only served as a reminder that it is STILL WINTER!!!

9)      As I mentioned another time….Demon is such a loner!  He is lying under the deck, wanting nothing to do with the others.

10)   Did I mention it is COLD out here?!
