A happy St. Patrick’s Day to everyone!   Time for another rendition of the Sunday funnies.   (Well, I see the funny, if no one else does)  J

·         Holly is officially as big as a house!  If she has fewer than 8 puppies, I will be surprised.  I am surprised, however, that she has not yet given birth.

·         Meanwhile, over in the direction of Aleu, the jury is still out.  She seems to now be getting bigger.  She has always been difficult to figure out.  She has had false pregnancies, and the one litter she had last year it was difficult to tell up to the very end.  If a litter is born, it will likely be small. 

·         Today was the minor fix-it day.  Had to fix the fence that was becoming separated from the poles, fix the hinge on the stall door that was broken, and add a heat lamp in the second puppy stall to prep for the upcoming cold nights (grumble).

·         The dogs had their normal fun while out today.  Today, Rose’s puppies were out running around enjoying the day as well.  They were of course outside the fence.  Rose wanted out, and they wanted in.  It was funny watching them try to negotiate the fence.  Run into it, run down a little, run into it again, run down a little again etc….

·         Nadia had an eventful day.  She had her turn in the barrel.  Kallen and Rose were relentless with her, trying to nip at her and make her life miserable.  I think Akira must have spoken to them in hopes they would get her back.  Nadia never lets up on Akira in the house.

·         Well, Holly can open the back door of the house and walk right in.  I need to change the handle to a round one.  I knew she would figure it out eventually.

·         Nadia had two big fails on the trampoline.  First she learned that she can’t jump up there from the ground.  I am sure it didn’t feel great, but it was quite comical watching her get a running start and leap into the air and get clotheslined on the side of the trampoline.  She is persistent though.  I am sure she will try again. 

·         As of now, only Holly and Miya can leap from the ground to the trampoline.  The rest need the chair.  I get the feeling Stink will get up there.  She is fearless!

·         Oh, and she also tried to leap up from underneath to jump to me on top.  Didn’t work.  She can’t quite get through it either!

·         Billy the cat is REALLY tempting fate of all of his 9 lives at once.  Just stay away Billy. Just. Stay. Away!

·         I sit down on the old wooden chair in the dog area.  And in 3,2,1…Up jumps Daisie, right on cue!  She SO wants to be a lapdog!
