We hope everyone had a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend, and hope everyone stopped to remember why the holiday exists.  We honor all of those who have fallen in defense of our freedom in this the greatest country on earth!

  • Here at the farm, the weekend was used to accomplish a lot of things.  The next phase of the stall project is underway, with the corner stall torn down and ready for gravel and concrete.  We will then divide that into two stalls.  Once that is complete, we will add three more stalls next to that one down the west wall.

  • I mentioned a couple weeks ago that during the construction process we will be letting many of the barn dogs stay outside in the fenced area all day and night.  They normally get to play out there a couple hours a day, but all day and night for a couple days at a time is very foreign to them.  It’s odd that some of them seem to be upset about not going back to the barn.  I guess that to them it’s their home, and it’s always better to sleep at night in your own bed.  Until construction is complete, Miya, Iris, Ember, and Josie are out.
  • Mylah’s puppies are now in their new homes.  Once again, thank you to the new owners!  We welcome the Bozeman family and the Campbell Family to the Frosty Meadow Family!!
  • Rose’s puppies are 3 weeks old today.  Five of the seven are sold, with 2 red and white males still available.  If you are on our waiting list and have not been contacted, it’s because you were either gender or color specific.  If you would like a red and white male, please email me at kronenbergerandrew@yahoo.com, or call/text 937-829-6545.  Also, I have attempted to contact some and have not been able to reach them.  Again, if you have not been contacted, and would like a red and white male, please call, text, or email!
  • Finally the outdoor pens are finished for the ducks and turkeys.  Seven turkeys do remain in the garage, and we will be moving them out to inside the barn soon.  They are the final candidates for our show birds.  They are the biggest birds as of right now, and we will pump up their diet to maximize their fair weight.  The other 22 will likely be off to processing in the next couple weeks.  They are roughly 15 lbs. each, and when they hit 20-25 lbs., we take them in for processing.  Shortly thereafter, Chickens will arrive!
