Ellis (Ellie)
Ellis came to us August 2016. In our continuing efforts to expand the pack and the farm, we decided to look outside for additional females. We found Ellis and were immediately taken back by her similar appearance to Daisie. On a drive home from New York City with my sister and her daughters, we decided to think of husky names for our new additions to pass the time. One of my nieces said, “name her Ellis after Ellis Island (that we had just visited) and call her Ellie.” So that’s what we did. We like the name and it also goes with our theme of NCIS characters. Ellie is black and white with blue eyes. She has a sweet and feisty personality. She is not as vocal as Ziva but sits back and stares at you with those big blue eyes. Ellie loves the water and tends to play in her drinking water bucket.
Update 2018: Ellie was re-homed to a family member's home. She was deemed unable to have any more pups, and was spayed. She really loves her new home and they love her. She is truly pampered and spoiled!Name: Ellis (Ellie) Named by our niece after visiting Ellis Island
